DINOL the parent company of DINITROL® was acquired in 2012 by the Würth Group. The German corporate giant since being founded by Adolf Würth in 1945 have become a worldwide wholesaler of fasteners, chemicals, dowels, screws and accessories, electronic and electromechanical components, automotive hardware, installation material, construction fittings, tools and machines.
The company currently employees around 65,000 people worldwide and is one of the largest corporations within Germany. With the headquarters based in Künzelsau the company is still under private ownership with Adolf’s son Prof. Dr. h.c. Reinhold Würth currently leading the business. Fellow Würth boardroom members including Robert Friedmann, Chairman of the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group, and Peter Zürn, Deputy Member of the Central Managing Board noted that the acquisition of DINOL is well suited to both organisations.
