Description

Available product sizes:

  • 310ml Cartridge

Characteristics:
DINITROL 700 is a 1-component sprayable seam sealer which hardens upon contact with air humidity. With a special compressed air gun (DINITROL 9053 VSP 64 Sealant Gun), the original surface can be reproduced perfectly. Available in grey and black.

Areas of Application:
DINITROL 700 is used as a seam sealer throughout the vehicle industry, in railway vehicles and caravans. It is also suitable as an sound insulation coating for wings, boots and bonnets, in addition to re-pairing door sills, frames and to improve PVC underbody protection. The product’s spray application enables use in difficult to access areas.

Method of Use:
The surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free from oil and lubricating grease. DINITROL 700 demonstrates excellent adhesion without a primer. It can be applied directly to untreated metal, galvanised steel, wood, most types of aluminium and lacquered or primed surfaces, including plastics with the exception of PE, PP, PS, PC, PMMA and PTFE. DINITROL 700 Seam Sealer is applied using the compressed air gun DINITROL 9053 VSP 64
Sealant Gun. The special nozzle enables application on various seam widths. By adjusting the nozzle, a smooth or rough-texture surface can be achieved. This is done by changing the spray or material pressure. A change in air pressure is not required. Depending on the work process, air pressure of 4 to 8 bar is required. Wet-on-wet coating is possible with practically all paints and lacquers up to 5 days after application.
