Silverstone Classic Motor Racing
Visiting the Silverstone Classic Summer Festival event provides any petrol head with the chance to watch some of the most iconic historic motorsport race cars from Touring, GT and the globally prestigious Formula One. We recommend arriving early at the Silverstone Classic during Friday to watch the qualifying laps ahead of the main motorsport races on the Saturday and Sunday. The motorsport action on Saturday incorporates the Stirling Moss Trophy for pre-1961 sports cars and the FIA Masters Historic Formula One race with many legendary automotive engineering masterpieces lining up on the grid. Even though the Silverstone Classic is a celebration of historic motorsport the racing is very competitive and continues on the Sunday with the Masters Endurance Legends and Adrian Flux Trophy for pre-1966 (HGPCA) Grand Prix Cars.
