DINITROL 3850 is a corrosion preventive fluid, designed for long-term protection against corrosion and, due to its residual hard film affords some protection against mechanical wear. DINITROL 3850 contains environmentally acceptable low aromatic solvents, which once evaporated leaves a thick, brown waxy film. DINITROL 3850 is primarily designed for cavity protection but may also be used for storage, transport and underbody protection.
DINITROL 3850 can be applied using manual and semi-automatic application equipment to a clean dry substrate and is suitable for either airmix or airless spraying. Application temperature for product and object is recommended to be 15 – 30°C.

Pre-treatment substrates
Surfaces to be treated shall be clean and dry. Loose corrosion shall be removed and if possible the corroded surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned with a wire brush.
DINITROL 3850 is normally not intended to be over-coated.
The product shall be stored at 10-30°C. When the product is stored cool and dry, it will have a shelf life of at least 2 years when stored in unopened original packages.
